Get ready for Ireland's greatest cycling experience!
Starting in Kinsale finishing on the Inishowen Peninsula, experience the stunning climbs and sweeping descents along Europe's longest coastal cycling route.
This is the stunning Wild Atlantic Way.
Discover the story of the Wild Atlantic Way Cycle Sportif.
Ireland’s first fully supported, multi-day sportif.
We look after everything from on-road support vehicles, bike mechanics, road marshals, massage therapists, lunch stops and accommodation and everything in between so that you can concentrate on pumping the legs and taking in the magic of the Wild Atlantic Way.
The full event will run over 20 days and 2,152km but we’ve broken it down into 4 blocks of 4 stages so that you can choose the dates that suit you and use the 2018 Spring Wild Atlantic Way Cycle Sportif as a pre-season fitness training camp for you and your club.
“An incredible ride through stunning scenery, guided by a top team of marshals and support crew who made things easy for us and kept us safe.”

A taste of what you can expect when you join us in 2018.
I’m one of the 3 amigos who completed all the 17 stages. Such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Failte Ireland, Ride Wild, all the support staff, nothing was ever too much trouble, two days of rain in 17, not bad for The Wild Atlantic Way. Ride Wild will go on to organise this event twice a year, April/May and September and if this one is anything to go by, they will do it in style. Michael and Keith - true professionals at what you do.
Can't thank them enough for their care and attention to detail. We were looked after so well on stage 7, Listowel-Lahinch. From start to finish we couldn’t have asked for better. This isn’t your standard event. This has to be the most uniquely organised cycling event on the Irish calendar. Road support and marshaling were outstanding. A sit down dinner, desert with tea/coffee at 1/2 way mark and transfers back to stage beginning makes this event the best sportif Ireland has to offer. To the team at Ride Wild, be proud of yourselves and many thanks to each and every one of you. Sincerely hope that I'll get to do this again in 2018.
Great day on the bike in what can only be described as challenging conditions but isn't that what it's all about. Superbly organised to the last detail. Highly recommend this one.
We did stage 11from Leenane to Achill and although the weather deteriorated throughout the day, we were always well looked after and our safety was always the top priority. Fabulous event and if Carlsberg did sportifs this would be it! We will be back. Good luck for the rest of the events.
Keith, I just wanted to say thanks to you, Michael and everyone at Ride Wild for a wonderful experience on the recent Wild Atlantic Way Cycle Sportif - an incredible ride through stunning scenery, guided by a top team of marshals and support crew who made things easy for us and kept us safe. The evenings were as enjoyable as the rides - lovely hotels, and the odd tipple over dinner in very good company. Really looking forward to returning with my local cycling club in 2018.
I did stage 11 today! This was one of the best organised sportif's I've ever participated in. The organisers at Ride Wild looked after us very well. This is going to be huge event in the future! Best of luck for the next couple of stages.
I completed yesterday's stage as part of a prize I won from Today FMs The last word. What a great sportive. The backup support was excellent, organisers couldn't have been nicer, and it's definitely the best run sportive I've been at in a while. Will most definitely be back next April..
Fantastic event! We did the stages 10 and 11 and can just say WOW! Great organisation and wonderful routes. Stunning views! All of you were so friendly and kind. We'll be back for all stages next year.
